Blair Hill

A low hogback in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Blair Hill rises to 29m (95 feet) on the right bank of the River Bladnoch, 2¾ miles (4.5 km) west of the settlement of Bladnoch. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area and is aligned N-S indicating the direction of flow of an ancient ice sheet. There is another Blair Hill 6 miles (10 km) to the southeast.
