A summit in The Machars of Galloway, Kirvennie Hill rises to just beyond 80m (262 feet) to the southeast of Kirvennie and a mile (1.5 km) west of Wigtown. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area, deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet.
