Little Molland

A little hogback in The Machars of Galloway, Little Molland rises to 69m (226 feet) a quarter-mile (0.4 km) north of Molland Hill and 2 miles (3 km) northeast of Spittal. Like Molland Hill, this is a drumlin. However, its principal axis aligned NNW-SSE suggesting the direction of flow of an ancient ice sheet covering this area, which contrasts with the NNE-SSW alignment of Molland Hill.
