Knockinderry Hill

A well-defined drumlin in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Knockinderry Hill rises to just beyond 70m (229 feet) (3.5 km) southwest of Newton Stewart. This is part of an extensive drumlin field, with its principal axis aligned NNW-SSE indicating the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier. Bishop Burn flows between this summit and Culbratten Hill.
