Gretna

An oval hillock hidden amongst plantation forest in The Machars of Galloway, Gretna rises to just beyond 90m (295 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) northwest of Craigenveoch Fell and 2 miles (3 km) east of Glenluce. This is part of an extensive drumlin field and has its principal axis aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier.
