A wooded summit within the Balmoral Estate in Aberdeenshire, Creag a' Ghobhainn rises to just beyond 390m (1279 feet) ¾ mile (1.2 km) south southwest of Balmoral Castle. Princess Alice's Cairn lies to the southwest of the summit, which provides fine views across Royal Deeside.
