Drumdow

An elongated whaleback in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Drumdow rises to 85m (278 feet) to the southeast of Derry Hill, a half-mile (1 km) northeast Elrig Loch. This is a well-defined drumlin, aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of ice flow, one of a number of similar features in this area. Another Drumdow, which is also a drumlin, lies 5 miles (8 km) to the east southeast.
