Drumrae Hill

A well-defined drumlin in The Machars of Galloway, Drumrae Hill rises to 89m (291 feet) a quarter-mile (0.5 km) southeast of White Loch and 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Whithorn. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area and is aligned NE-SW, with well-developed tail, both suggesting the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier.
