Drumbeg Hill

A summit in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Drumbeg Hill reaches a height of 71m (232 feet) a half-mile (1 km) south of White Loch and 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Whithorn. This is part of an extensive drumlin field and had its principal axis aligned NE-SW indicating the direction of glacial flow. A forest plantation occupies Ravenstone Moss to the southeast. There is another Drumbeg Hill 11 miles (18 km) to the north northwest.
