Hillend

A teardrop-shaped summit in The Machars of Galloway, Hillend represents a northeastern extension of Balcray Hill, rising to 60m (196 feet) a mile (1.7 km) southeast of Whithorn and 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Isle of Whithorn. These summits form part of an extensive drumlin field, and have their principal axis aligned NE-SW indicating the direction of glacial flow.
