Dinnans Hill

A low summit in The Machars of Galloway, Dinnans Hill reaches a height of only 37m (121 feet) a quarter-mile (0.4 km) southwest of Dinnans and 1½ miles (2.5 km) east of Whithorn. This is one of a number of drumlins hereabouts, deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet that covered the area.
