Park Hill

A hogback in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Park Hill rises to just beyond 70m (229 feet) overlooking White Loch from the northwest, 2¾ miles (4.5 km) southwest of Sorbie. Park Hill is a well-defined drumlin, part of an extensive drumlin field hereabouts, and has its principal axis aligned NE-SW indicating the direction of glacial flow. Its southeastern slopes are occupied by Park Hill Plantation.
