Drummonnachan

An elongated hogback in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Drummonnachan rises to 62m (203 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) east southeast of Airyhassen and 2½ miles (4 km) west southwest of Sorbie. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area, aligned ENE-WSW indicating the direction of glacial flow. A forest plantation occupies Drummodie Moss to the northwest.
