Kilpatrick's Hill is the long tail of a well-defined drumlin, known as Cairn Hill, in The Machars of Galloway, which rises to just beyond 40m (131 feet) a mile (1.7 km) south southeast of Sorbie. Bar Hill is another drumlin, located immediately to the north.
