Calfward Hill

A little hogback in The Machars of Galloway, Knocknahay rises to 43m (141 feet) to the southeast of Murray's Hill, 1¼ miles (2 km) southeast of Sorbie and 1½ miles (2.5 km) west of Garlieston. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area, aligned NW-SE suggesting the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier.
