Sanquahar Hill

One of a group of well-defined drumlins in The Machars of Galloway, Sanquahar Hill rises to 68m (223 feet) to the south of Little Airies, 1¼ miles (2 km) west northwest of Sorbie. Deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet, the hill is aligned ENE-WSW indicating the direction of flow.
