Annat Hill

A little hogback in The Machars of Galloway, Annat Hill rises to 60m (196 feet) to the west of the former Dowalton Loch, a half-mile (1 km) east of Airyhassen and 3 miles (5 km) west of Sorbie. This is part of an extensive drumlin field, deposited beneath an ancient glacier, with its principal axis aligned NE-SW indicating the direction of flow.
