Barharrie

A well-defined drumlin in The Machars of Galloway, Barharrie rises to 112m (367 feet) on the left bank of the Black Burn, 2½ miles (4 km) northeast of Loch Heron. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area, with its principal axis aligned N-S suggesting the direction of flow of an ancient ice sheet which covered this area.
