A hillock in The Machars of Galloway, Ardnimord rises to 122m (400 feet) to the north of the Black Burn, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) west of Carseriggan and 4 miles (6.5 km) north northwest of Kirkcowan. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area, deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet and aligned NNW-SSE suggesting the direction of flow.
