Baryerrock Hill

A well-defined drumlin in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Baryerrock Hill rises to 62m (203 feet) to the west of The Canal, ¾ mile (1.2 km) west northwest of Whauphill. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area, with its teardrop shape aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of flow of the ancient ice sheet which once covered this area.
