Bing Hill

A drumlin in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Bing Hill rises to 87m (285 feet) a half-mile (1 km) south of Kirkinner. This is part of an extensive drumlin field deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet, with its principal axis aligned NNW-SSE suggesting the direction of ice flow.
