Strife Hill

A little hogback in the SW of Dumfries and Galloway, Strife Hill rises to just beyond 55m (180 feet) on the edge of plantation forest, 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Wigtown. This is one of a number of drumlins scattered across The Machars, aligned NNW-SSE suggesting the direction of ice flow within an ancient glacier.
