Drumnawantie Hill

A summit in The Machars of Galloway, Drumnawantie Hill rises to 83m (272 feet) to the south of the A75 Trunk Road, 2½ miles (4 km) southwest of Newton Stewart. This is part of an extensive drumlin field, aligned NNW-SSE indicating the direction of flow of an ancient ice sheet which covered this area.
