Lady Hill

The northeastern part of a drumlin in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Lady Hill rises to just beyond 70m (229 feet) to the south of the Tarf Water and ¾ mile (1.2 km) southeast of Kirkcowan. This is part of an extensive drumlin field and its principal axis is aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of flow of an ancient ice sheet. There is another Lady Hill located just 2¼ miles (3.5 km) to the west.
