Gool Hill

A hillock in The Machars of Galloway, Gool Hill rises to just beyond 35m (114 feet) in a loop on the left bank of the River Bladnoch immediately to the west of Spittal. This is a little drumlin, one of a number in this area, deposited under an ancient ice sheet and aligned N-S suggesting the direction of flow.
