Linghar Hill

A hillock of limited prominence in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Linghar Hill rises to just beyond 30m (98 feet) on the right bank of the River Bladnoch, a half-mile (1 km) west of the settlement of Bladnoch. This is an example of a drumlin, one of many hereabouts, deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet.
