Lauder Burn

A stream in the N Scottish Borders, the Lauder Burn rises on Lauder Common in the Lammermuir Hills and then flows east between Staunchley Hill and Chester Hill, to reach Lauder. It curves around the southern margin of the village, where it once powered the Burn Mill. A little further on it once filled a curling pond. The stream then continues east to Lauder Barns, where it falls into the Leader Water having completed a course of 3½ miles (5.5 km).
