A substantial glacial erratic in the NW of Dumfries and Galloway, the Dungeon Stone lies to the southwest of the Dry Loch of the Dungeon, beneath Dungeon Hill. It is 2.4m (8 feet) in height and is estimated to weigh around 300 tons.
