An elongated summit in NW Dumfries and Galloway, Dargodjel rises to 130m (426 feet) surrounded by the Galloway Forest, on the left bank of the River Bladnoch, a half-mile (0.7 km) east southeast of Polbae. This is a drumlin, one of many hereabouts, all deposited beneath and ancient ice sheet which once covered this area.
