Dargoal Hill

An elongated summit in NW Dumfries and Galloway, Dargoal Hill rises to just beyond 150m (492 feet), deep within the Galloway Forest, a half-mile (0.8 km) west southwest of Urrall Fell and 2¼ miles (3.5 km) south of Polbae. Dargoal Hill forms part of an extensive drumlin field which was deposited beneath an ancient ice sheet, and is aligned N-S suggesting the direction of flow.
