Duke Street Railway Station

A railway station on the North Clyde Line in Glasgow, Duke Street (referred to as Sràid an Diùic in Gaelic) is located a quarter-mile (0.5 km) west of Camlachie and a similar distance east southeast of Dennistoun. This station was built for the City of Glasgow Union Railway and opened in 1883. Now operated by ScotRail, Duke Street Station is unstaffed and passenger numbers have grown steadily from 74,102 per annum (2009-10) to 166,458 (2016-17). It is preceded by Alexandra Parade Railway Station, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the north northeast, and followed by Bellgrove, a similar distance to the west southwest.
