River Conon Bridge

The most recent of two road bridges that cross the River Conon between the settlements of Maryburgh and Conon Bridge in Highland Council Area, the River Conon Bridge lies immediately to the northeast of Garrie Island, 1½ miles (2.5 km) south of Dingwall. It was built in the 1980s to carry the A835, a new route linking the Tore Roundabout and Contin which bypassed the villages of the NW Black Isle and SE Easter Ross.
