A stream which rises as field drains on the western slopes of Dechmont Law in Livingston (West Lothian), the Nell Burn (or occasionally Eli Burn) flows south through Deans, where it is partially in a culvert. It then passes through the Eliburn Reservoir, in the district of Eliburn, and Livingston Old Wood, to fall into the Lochshot Burn a half-mile (0.9 km) northwest of Livingston Village. It is 1¼ miles / 2 km in length. The name of this stream is mis-recorded as the "Neil Burn" on Google maps (2019).
