Kincraig Bridge

A single-carriageway bridge which crosses the River Spey at the northern end of Loch Insh. the Kincraig Bridge dates from the late 19th C and comprises eight spans and a wooden deck. Unusually, while two of the piers are rubble-built, the remainder are in wood, with V-shaped iron cutwaters. Extending to approximately 85m / 280 feet in length, the bridge is now B-listed. There was once a ferry here, with Kincraig once known as Boat of Insh.
