A minor light, comprising a little white-painted octagonal metal tower located high on the island of Eilean a' Chuirn, to the southeast of Islay in the Inner Hebrides. It is 5m (16 feet) in height, giving the light an elevation of 26m (85 feet) and faces east towards Gigha and the Kintyre peninsula. The lighthouse is remotely monitored by the Northern Lighthouse Board Headquarters in Edinburgh.
