Abhainn na Braid


(Abhainn na BrĂ id, Abhainn na Braghad)

A river on the west coast of the Rhinns of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Abhainn na Braid (sometimes Abhainn na Braghad) rises as headstreams to the south of Turnaichaidh and flows southwest for 1½ miles (2.5 km) to fall into the head of Kilchiaran Bay. Its main tributary is a stream which drains Loch Conailbhe to the east.
