A small low-lying wooded riverine island situated within the River Dee in Dumfries and Galloway, Grainyford Isle lies a quarter-mile (0.4 km) southwest of Bridge of Dee and extends to 2.2 ha (5.4 acres). The Grainy Ford once provided a means of crossing the river.
