Stony Island

A small riverine islet in the S of Dumfries and Galloway, Stony Island lies in the western channel of the River Dee as it divides around the much larger Lodge Island, a half-mile (0.8 km) north of Bridge of Dee. This wooded islet extends to 0.15 ha (0.4 acres).
