Edinburgh Rugby Stadium

Located immediately to the west of Murrayfield Stadium, 2 miles / 3 km west southwest of the city centre, the Edinburgh Rugby Stadium was built in 2021 at a cost of £5.7 million on some of Murrayfield's training pitches to provide a venue for Edinburgh Rugby's matches, their first permanent home since their emergence as a professional side in 1996. The architects were Glasgow-based Holmes Miller. It has a capacity of 7800 spectators divided between the Main Stand (to the north), Murrayfield Stand, Riverside Stand and Lothian Stand, including around 2000 in safe-standing areas.

Murrayfield Ice Rink lies immediately to the northeast.
