A Graham peak of South Lanarkshire, Tinto rises to a height of 711m (2335 feet) and lies 3 miles (5 km) south of Thankerton, 3 miles (5 km) north of Dungavel Hill. On the summit are an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar, installed in 1936, and a geographical indicator.
