An area of deer forest to the south of Glen Doe, the valley of the Allt Doe, Glendoe Forest lies 4 miles (6.5 km) southeast of Fort Augustus in the Monadhliath Mountains. The Glendoe Reservoir was built here 2006-09, part of a sizeable hydro-electric scheme.
