Ardnamurchan Point Visitor Centre

Located in the ancillary buildings surrounding Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Kilchoan, is the Ardnamurchan Point Visitor Centre. The main exhibition, to be found in the former Principal Lighthouse Keeper's House, uses displays, video footage and computer technology to describe the lighthouse and explains its operation, as well as celebrating the westernmost point of the British mainland and portraying the history, people and places of West Ardnamurchan. Visitors can also see the former Engine Room, the Fog Horn and the Keeper's Cottages. The centre also includes a cafe and is open daily in the summer season.
