Great Dirrington culminates 1½ mile SSE of Longformacus hamlet, and has an altitude of 1309 feet above sea-level; and Little Dirrington culminates nearly 1½ mile further SSW on the boundary with Greenlaw parish, and has an altitude of 1191 feet.
