Glenranza, a narrow glen on the mutual border of Kilmore and Kilbride parishes, in the N of Arran, Buteshire. It is traversed by the Ranza, an impetuous stream, which, issuing from tiny Loch na Davie (1182 feet), runs 35/8 miles north-north-westward till it falls into the head of Loch Ranza. It is joined on the right side by Glenhalmadale, and above that point is sometimes known as Glen Easan Biorach.Ord., Sur., sh. 21,1870.
