Ba or A-Baw, an isleted loch in Glenorchy parish, NE Argyllshire, on Rannoch Muir, 6 miles SE of Kinghouse Inn, Glencoe. Very irregular in outline, it has an extreme length and breadth of 2½ miles and ¾ mile, lies at an altitude of 957 feet, and teems with trout; the river Ba, 4½ miles long above, and1¼ below, the lake, connects it with Loch Laidon, and so with Loch Rannoch.
