Freuchie, a loch in detached portions of Dull and Kenmore parishes, Perthshire, in Glenquaich, 1¾ mile W of Amulree. Lying 880 feet above sea-level, it has an utmost length and breadth of 1¾ and 31/3 furlongs ; sends off to the E the river Braan ; and contains small, lively trout, with far too many pike. Glenquaich Lodge, a shooting-box of the Earl of Breadalbane, is on its south-western shore - Ord. Sur., 47, 1869.
