Parish of Old Luce

(Glenluce)

Old Luce is a coastal parish, which lies in Dumfries and Galloway Council Area, some 10 miles (16 km) east of Stranraer and 13 miles (21 km) west of Newton Stewart in Dumfries and Galloway. It is also known as Glenluce.

It is located in the old county of Wigtownshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 128.8 sq. km (49.7 sq. miles). Old Luce has 5 neighbouring parishes; namely Inch, Kirkcowan, Mochrum, New Luce and Stoneykirk.
