Glass is a parish, which lies in Aberdeenshire Council Area, some 6 miles (10 km) west of Huntly in Aberdeenshire and 7 miles (11 km) east of Dufftown in Moray.
It is located in the old county of Aberdeenshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 51 sq. km (19.7 sq. miles). Glass has 6 neighbouring parishes; namely Botriphnie, Cabrach, Cairnie, Gartly, Huntly and Mortlach. The boundaries of this parish were modified among significant changes recommended by the Boundary Commissioners after the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1889.
