Parish of Foveran Foveran is a coastal parish, which lies in Aberdeenshire Council Area, some 4 miles (6 km) south of Ellon in Aberdeenshire and 11 miles (18 km) north of Aberdeen in Aberdeen City.It is located in the old county of Aberdeenshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 42.7 sq. km (16.5 sq. miles).
