Parish of Alford Alford is a parish, which lies in Aberdeenshire Council Area, some 14 miles (23 km) west of Inverurie and 15 miles (24 km) northwest of Banchory in Aberdeenshire.It is located in the old county of Aberdeenshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 36.9 sq. km (14.2 sq. miles).
